| The photo above and series of photos below depict the delicate nature of excavation requirements. The contractor was required to use a smooth blade bucket and remove material in lifts of 6" or less to allow the area to be adequately observed by the archaeologists. |
Construction is progressing well and the new boat launch should be open by Spring 2015.
